We met at a gallery opening in Brooklyn — Elena with paint on her hands, James with a camera around his neck. She saw the world in color; he saw it in light. That evening, over terrible wine and great conversation, we realized we were telling the same story from different angles.

Three months later, we photographed our first wedding together. Not as a business — as a favor for a friend. But when we saw the images side by side, something clicked. Her eye for emotion, his instinct for the decisive moment. It was never the same shooting alone after that.
